Celebrate the Victories and Don’t Just Dwell on the Failures
Most people never take the time to enjoy the victories. Yet they don’t hesitate dwelling on failures. Do you think that’s being fair to yourself? It’s OK to feel good about yourself and the work you’re putting in to achieve our defined purpose. We should revel in our victories, no matter how small by giving thanks and feeling good about our successes. It’s even OK to celebrate a few failures every now and then because through failure is how we learn and grow and that’s a great thing!
I know many parents that set up a reward system for their children when they have performed a task, helped cook dinner or done well at a school assignment. As adults we need to setup the same system. When you achieve a milestone, goal or create a new opportunity for yourself, take a moment to celebrate that feeling. Celebrations help your mind become more optimistic and positive, two vital attributes necessary to attain long term sustainable success.
Start every day with a small celebration. Each morning you should awaken with the affirmation of “I’ve already achieved a lot, now I ‘m ready to achieve even more.” Yes you are…
Wishing you a life full of unlimited health, happiness and prosperity.
